Word-Length: Your total manuscript can be any length, but please send no more than 4,000 to start things off. SuckerPunch Press will ask for more if the editors like what they see. You can include a synopsis of the rest if you feel it's needed.
Genre: Novels, novellas, poetry, short fiction, flach fiction, memoir, found text . . . Heck if it's a shopping list and it fulfills our mission, we'll publish it.
Submission Format: Electronic only, no attachments. SuckerPunch Press is afraid of computer viruses. Just cut and paste your text into the body of an email to submissions@suckerpunchpress.com. The email's subject line must read “submission.”
Response time: If you don't hear from us in three months, feel free to send a follow-up query.
